Independent Expat Finance is a boutique independent mortgage brokerage focused entirely on the expat community in the Netherlands.
We started with one clear mission: to provide expats with transparent, high-level, and truly personal financial advice in a market that can feel overwhelming.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mortgage Advisor, you are the trusted advisor for expat clients buying, refinancing or upgrading their homes in the Netherlands.
Your role includes:
- Advising new and returning clients on mortgage solutions
- Structuring and preparing mortgage applications together with your support team
- Translating complex financial structures into clear and confident advice
- Drafting well-substantiated advisory reports in line with WFT guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation (AVG / WFT)
- Representing Independent Expat Finance at fairs, events and online webinars
You won’t just “process files” — you will guide clients through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
Who You Are
You are commercially sharp, service-driven and comfortable taking ownership. You combine analytical skills with strong communication and enjoy working in an international environment.
You bring:
- WFT Base, Mortgage and Wealth certificates
- 3–7 years of relevant experience (bachelor-level thinking and working)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is required)
- A proactive, entrepreneurial & relationship mindset
- Flexibility and independence in managing your work
